A Turtle's Pace

Sometimes its nice to slow down the pace a little and you might just notice the world around you :0)

We were walking around checking out the spring flowers when all of a sudden we see this guy hiding in plain sight

Very shy  turtle!

We finally saw it walk away slowly

Then we saw this guy (he must have just come out of hibernation)

from a distance he looked like a clump of mud but up close he looked like a grumpy old man :)

Tricky fellow! (nice camouflage on this one!)
