Get going while the going is good......

The days have been busy with the move, and work, and LIFE  and let me tell you, the hubby and I have dealt with a lot of this:
However there is a moment where you have to take a minute to realize that unpacking can wait, the dishes are okay in their box a little while longer, and the laundry will still be there later to be hung just perfectly on their hangers because it is too darn pretty outside to just stay inside. (not to mention I think insanity would set in if I had to unpack one more thing!)  sooooo Duncan and I walked out our front door and across the street to the park (yes ladies and gentlemen, I said we have a beautiful green park outside our front door!)

I think that judging by the smile on my Duncan-roo's face that I made the right decision don't you ;0)

The prince of the Castle!

The Move is 3/4 ths complete and Duncan decided that this was the perfect day to sleep in and relax in the new Casa!!!!  I guess he is pretty content!  He struts around happily and inspects all of our unpacking progress and rearranges his toys every few minutes.  Speaking of toys :

He was NOT such a good boy throughout the move so we decided to take him to PetSmart to pick out a new toy and after careful deliberation he chose a new crocheted squeaky hippo from the Martha Stewart Pets collection. (we also had to get more medicine to keep those pesky summer bugs off of him when he goes to play in the yard, but that is a matter not to be discussed)

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!  I am off to do more unpacking!

Goat..... YES I Said Goat........

My comings and goings have kept me quite busy lately sooo let me update you on what has and will be going on in my wild world with the hubby and Duncan...... First off we are moving (not to another town just to a new house in the same town)  I have been a busy bee packing and packing and boxing up items, and sorting out the things that can be donated, given away, or thrown out. Duncan was quite confused by it all but we had a talk about what was going on and took him over to the new house, we showed him his new fenced in back yard and he then promptly approved of the move and wanted to go right then!  Also with summer comes picnics and barbeques..... Well friends my latest Picnic was quite an experience because one of my friends decided to bring roasted goat..... YES I SAID GOAT it looked a little like this (minus the carrots):
It was definitely a first but not overall a bad experience (it reminded me a lot of pot roast)...... the picnic/BBQ was delicious and we all went home happy and FULL with more food and fun than we could all handle!
We also decided to go back to our little in town park and visit the ducks.... quite fun!

Well back to packing and moving for me............for now,  But I will have to update you all about this weekend, Friday is Hubby and I's 5th Wedding anniversary and we fully intend on taking a break from the packing and moving to enjoy it :0)
